Brand Management & Marketing for Small Businesses
Your business is good. You know it. Your customers know it, at least the ones who find you.
The problem is everything surrounding it, the Instagram posts that don't quite match, the pitch deck you're not proud of, and the press kit you keep meaning to update. Your marketing looks like it was done in between everything else, because it was.
The Garden is a subscription service that tends your brand while you run your business. Consistently handling everything from social content, pitch decks, media kits, to print materials so they're ready when you need them, and tailored to what makes you distinct.
This means you can spend more time on the work that moves your business forward while your brand runs reliably in the background. Instead of settling for "good enough" because you don't have time to make it right.

How It Works
You tell me what you need. I build it, then you approve it, and move on.
Before anything else, we spend 45 minutes on a call. You tell me about your business, your customers, and where your marketing is falling short. I ask the questions that matter, not just surface-level demographics, but your values, mission, and market positioning, the real reasons your audience chooses you over someone cheaper or more convenient. That conversation is where the work begins.
You work with me directly from there, and the relationship compounds. Month two is faster than month one. By month six, I'm catching things before you have to ask.
Book a Call
We’ll spend around 45 minutes together. Discussing where you are and what's possible. If it's a fit, we move forward.
Pick A subscription
Choose your subscription tier and complete your initial payment. No surprise fees or scope creep. You know what you're paying for and what you're getting.
Make Requests
There are no preset minimums or packages. Tell me what you need via Notion or Slack, such as a set of Instagram posts for the month, a pitch deck for an investor meeting, or a media kit for an event, and I’ll give you a time scale depending on the amount of work required.
I Design & Organize
I design, write, and organize your materials with your brand guidelines. If you don't have guidelines yet, that's fine. I can build them as we go, by documenting what's working and tailoring what's not to fit your specific market and target audience.
You Approve & Use It
Review and leave notes on your schedule. Post it. Send it. Print it. Then move on with your day. Your marketing is handled, and you're back to doing the work only you can do.
No micromanaging or teaching someone your brand from scratch every few months. Just support that understands your business and keeps your marketing consistent while you focus on growth.

What I've done
I've built and maintained brand systems for nonprofits, lifestyle brands, and events for over ten years. I know what breaks when you're scaling, what works when you're too busy to babysit your marketing, and how to build campaigns that perform under pressure. I designed the marketing campaign that helped Hope For The Day's Sip of Hope Coffee Shop raise over $60,000 during COVID-19. That's the level of recurring support you're getting here.

Before we start, I’ll ask who your customers are, what cultural context matters to them, and what genuinely sets you apart. The goal isn't to make your brand look professional. It's to make it look like the most compelling version of itself, and speak specifically to the people you're trying to reach.

How does this compare to hiring a graphic designer or working with an agency?
A garden stays maintained when someone tends it regularly. Your brand is no different. You have three real options, and each one comes with a tradeoff worth understanding before you decide.

A freelance graphic designer takes direction well and delivers options. What they often skip is the bigger picture — your mission, your market positioning, what actually makes your ideal customer choose you. Many are happy to design a logo without asking how it needs to work. If strategy matters to you, a designer who doesn't lead with strategy will cost you more than their invoice.

A branding agency brings more resources — research, copywriting, photography, web development, animation — and coordinates them under one roof. That coordination has real value for complex, large-scale projects. It also comes with a price tag to cover significant overhead, longer turnaround times, and layers of people between you and the work. Months of brand ethos discussions serve some businesses well. For founders who need consistent deliverables and fast decisions, that structure slows everything down.

The Garden sits between both. I work with small businesses that want their long-term mission and goals to shape strategy, design, and messaging — not just their next deliverable. I ask where your brand is today. It's where it's growing, what's in its way, and what practical next steps will make it more admired, more profitable, and more recognizable to the people who matter most.
